We are looking for a **skilled and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator** to join our fabrication team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have experience operating hydraulic and mechanical press brake machines to bend, form, or cut metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision work and values safety and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Set up and operate brake press machines (e.g., Amada, Cincinnati, Bystronic) to fabricate metal parts.

+ Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.

+ Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet exact specifications.

+ Adjust machine settings, tooling, and materials for optimal performance and output.

+ Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of brake press equipment.

+ Monitor production runs for accuracy, efficiency, and potential issues.

+ Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

+ Keep a clean, organized work area and assist in continuous improvement efforts.

+ Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet quality and production goals.

Requirements:

+ Proven experience operating brake press machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.

+ Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Familiarity with metal types, tolerances, and fabrication methods.

+ Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

+ Dependable, safety-conscious, and a team player.
