    Job Title: Jr Project AccountantJob Description

     

    As a Junior Project Accountant, you will engage in project accounting activities including liaising with the design team, managing project budgets, analyzing performance, handling client billing, and tracking labor and expenses. You will also be responsible for managing consultant fees.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate with design teams to ensure accurate project accounting.

    + Prepare and manage project budgets effectively.

    + Analyze project performance and provide insights.

    + Manage client billing processes accurately and efficiently.

    + Track labor and expenses to maintain project financial health.

    + Oversee consultant fee management and ensure timely payments.

    + Reconcile project accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in project accounting, billing, and construction processes.

    + Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industries.

    + Strong skills in Deltek software and Excel for project billing.

    + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

    + Project experience with construction budgets exceeding $20M.

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Deltek Vision accounting software is preferred.

    + Proactive and self-motivated with a collaborative approach.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is an open format in a central area, requiring onsite presence in West Hollywood three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday). You will be part of a close-knit team of seven, including AP, Payroll, HR/Payroll, two project accountants, a Controller, and a CFO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
