    Responsibilities

    + Meet with the customer to understand the security needs and develop requirements and test plans.

    + Identify candidate technologies and evaluate them against the defined requirements.

    + Become an expert on the system and be able to communicate how the system enables the solution and where it's limitations lie.

    + Work with internal teams to assess and resolve all privacy, network security, and scalability concerns for the systems.

    + Write high quality documentation for system standards and operations.

    + Work hand in hand with installation and administration teams to field the solutions.

    + Continually re-evaluate the systems to ensure they are still effective and actively assess how new technology developments or changes in the environment may require new solutions.

    + Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on engineering needs and requirements for system performance, installations, and sustainment programs and provide recommended improvements per industry best practices

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (BS) such as Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering with 5+ years of experience.

    + Hands on experience designing and deploying different systems

    + System administration experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions

    + Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Abilities:

    + Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

    + Sitting for extended periods of time.

    + Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

    + Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

    + Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

    + Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

    + Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

    + Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

    + Identify and understand the speech of another person.
