Join a team of forward-thinking engineers dedicated to designing sustainable wastewater systems that serve communities and protect the environment. We’re looking for a skilled Sr. Civil Engineer to lead impactful projects across Orange County—from treatment plant upgrades to pipeline rehabilitation and pump station design .

What You’ll Do

+ Lead the design and development of wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.

+ Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates.

+ Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards, while adhering to contractual obligations.

+ Oversee and coordinate the work of junior engineers, drafters, and technicians.

+ Support projects through construction phases, including field inspections and contractor coordination.

+ Conduct hydraulic modeling and contribute to master planning and asset management efforts.

Key Focus Areas

+ Outside-the-fence design: wastewater collection, distribution, and reclaimed water systems.

+ Hydraulic modeling and system analysis.

+ Construction oversight and field support.

+ Data analysis and technical documentation.

What You Bring

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).

+ 6–12 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design and construction.

+ California PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling software, and civil design tools.

+ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

+ A passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

+ Experience with wastewater treatment plant design and stormwater systems.

+ bkgrnd in contract negotiation, proposal development, and project management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
