    R&D Engineer II

    Job Description

    This role involves assisting in the development of the 2nd generation Device. The successful candidate will work alongside a lead engineer to deliver accurate and efficient results, primarily focusing on design verification through various testing methods and documentation.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the development of the 2nd generation Device.

    + Conduct design verification through tensile testing, compression testing, materials testing, and prototype testing.

    + Document findings from various tests and experiments.

    + Engage hands-on with prototypes and contribute to continuous improvement using 3D printing.

    + Provide assistance in other departments as needed, including line validation and supply chain.

    + Work mainly in the R&D lab, utilizing welding and microscope equipment.

    + Author documents and continuous improvement reports.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in relevant fields.

    + Proven experience in medical device testing and prototype development.

    + Ability to perform validation documentation and design verification.

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical engineering.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
