Description

+ Perform assigned manufacturing tasks for reagents and buffers as assigned by the Supervisor/Lead

+ Perform troubleshooting on formulations, filling processes, packaging, analytical techniques

+ Conduct Quality Control procedures for consumables

+ Perform data collection and analysis

+ Perform work order processing to complete products to inventory

+ Execute and improve batch records and SOPs

+ Identify gaps and weaknesses in the SOPs and formulations for finished goods and component materials

+ Maintain a correct inventory of materials through cycle counts, ordering and receipt of materials

+ Operate in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities

+ Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with other scientists, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to support R&D and process improvement activities to meet production goals

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with SOPs, BRs, WIs

+ Hands-on experience with pH, conductivity meter, UV-vis, and other standard lab equipment

+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as on teams, highly organized and flexible

+ Detail-oriented with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills (Excel, Word, Confluence, web-based or similar programs)

+ Experience with developing and updating BOMs is preferred

+ Experience with formulation, fill, packaging, and chromatography in a laboratory setting is preferred

Requirements: A Bachelor of Science degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, or other related life science discipline preferred, with 0-2 years of relevant experience in consumable manufacturing (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)

This is a third shift position - it will train on 2nd shift and eventually move to over nights.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
