We are actively hiring for a Sr. Scientist to join our expanding optimization team. This individual will play a key role in advancing greener, enzyme-optimized detergents. You'll drive detergent optimization projects in close collaboration with customers and global teams, helping shape new capabilities within our technical service function. A strong experience with detergent applications, formulations (liquids and unit dose), and industry knowledge is essential, as we focus on innovation, digitalization, and sustainable solutions.

Description

- Lead scientific progress and customer interactions within the household care sector.

- Collaborate with global teams in R&D, formulation centers, marketing, and sales.

- Develop and apply ingredient, formulation, and process understanding for detergent systems.

- Deliver innovative services and technical solutions that create significant customer value.

- Work with enzymes in detergent formulations; experience with solid detergent formats is a plus.

- Perform data analysis using advanced statistical tools and generate technical reports.

- Build expertise in ingredient interactions and their synergy with enzyme-based solutions.

- Independently lead technical projects and mentor junior team members.

- Contribute to a collaborative, agile work environment with a focus on sustainability and digital innovation.

Skills & Qualifications

- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or related field with relevant experience in industrial application of detergents

- Working experience (+10 years) in the household/home care industry or similar and understanding

- Strong experience with detergent applications and formulation (liquids and unit dose).

- Experience with enzyme-based formulations is highly desirable.

- Excellent communication and project management skills.

- Strong experimental and analytical skills.

- Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver in a fast-paced, global environment.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product ownership is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $61.00/hr.
