Job Title: Software Engineer - ENG02Job Description
The qualified candidate will be responsible for evaluating operational software problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service, as well as integration and verification of new baselines.
Responsibilities
+ Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of software applications.
+ Troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance.
+ Perform testing, integration, and delivery of new software baselines.
+ Conduct in-depth analysis and assessment with an end-to-end perspective of complex systems in operations.
Essential Skills
+ Active and transferrable TS/SCI with polygraph U.S. government issued clearance.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in software development or software integration.
+ Experience in coding software using Java or C++.
+ Proficiency in software development and/or software integration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with software configuration management systems such as Git.
+ Ability to work in a structured configuration-controlled environment, focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications.
+ Proficiency in Linux/Unix and SQL.
+ Experience with JIRA, BitBucket, and Confluence is desirable.
Work Environment
This role requires working within a structured configuration-controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
