    The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating comprehensive care for assigned patients, ensuring the delivery of individualized and age-appropriate care. This role requires assessing patient status, interpreting clinical data, and addressing unique care requirements in alignment with established policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate total patient care, delivering individualized care based on patient needs.

    + Assess and interpret data reflective of patient status to provide age-specific, evidence-based care.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.

    + Embody the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.

    + Actively support the hospital’s strategic plan and participate in quality improvement and process enhancement initiatives.

     

    This position calls for clinical expertise, compassionate patient care, and a commitment to advancing the Mission and strategic goals of St. Bernardine Medical Center in a collaborative and supportive environment.

    Qualifications

    + One year of Med/Surg or Post-Partum nursing preferred ***Position is not currently able to support training RN's without 1 year of Med/Surg or Post-Partum.**

    + Current California Registered Nurse License

    + AHA-Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider

    + Neonatal Resuscitation- within first six months of employment into the position.

    + Basic Arrhythmia- within first six months of employment

    + Basic Fetal Monitoring within first six months of employment.

    + Certified Lactation Educator or minimum of 18 hours in Baby Friendly, USA approved breastfeeding course within six months of employment in the job

    Pay Range

    $52.23 - $68.16 /hour
