    Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.

     

    + Prepares deliveries for daily shipments.

    + Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain customer site access badges.

    + Prepares deliveries for daily shipments.

    + Loads material on truck and secures cargo during transit.

    + Drives truck to destination. Prepares receipts for loads picked up.

    + Collects payment for good delivered and for delivery charges.

    + Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.

    + Maintain telephone and radio contact with supervisor to received delivery instructions.

    + Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Essential that applicant possess a valid CDL driver’s license

    + Required to pass a DOT drug test and physical

    + Must possess some knowledge of assigned area

    + Experience with Microsoft Office

    Requirements:

    + Willingness to learn mainframe program (Metalware)
