Ball-Chatham is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our existing Titan Talent as a Licensed

Practical Nurse (LPN) at Glenwood Middle School.

Starting wage beginning at $21.60 an hour, commensurate with experience

WHAT DO SCHOOL LPNs DO?

+ Float between assigned buildings to assist School Nurse (RN) with students and/or staff

+ Provide first aid care to students and staff as assigned

+ Administer testing and medication to staff and/or students

+ Assist School Nurse (RN) in maintaining health records

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

+ High School Diplomas or equivalent education is required

+ Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of IL

+ Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal and DCFS background check.

+ Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatments, especially as it relates to children and adolescents

+ Considerable knowledge of child growth and development

+ Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies

+ Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health service
