Job Description
Are you ready to expland your career in financial risk and compliance? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivatedAssociateto join ourLoan Quality Credit Complianceteam. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the integrity and quality of our loan portfolio.
As a valued member of our team, you will:
* Assist in reviewing loans forcredit, collateral, and data accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with internalunderwriting standardsandeligibility requirements.
* Identify and report onloan quality issues, including potential fraud or misrepresentation.
* Collaborate with internal teams toresolve loan defectsand supportrepurchase investigations.
* Communicate findings to stakeholders and contribute torisk mitigation strategies.
*Please note this is an in-office role based out of Plano, TX*
Minimum Requirements & Skills
* 0-1 year of relevant experience in finance, compliance, or risk
Desired Experiences & Skills
* ABachelor’s degreeor equivalent experience.
* 10 years underwriting experience including recent experience in either origination or audit underwriting function
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
* Ability to review loans for eligibility, misrepresentation and risk
* Experience analyzing and reporting quality issues on a loan-level basis
* Stay abreast and well versed on all Fannie Mae Selling Guide/Product Changes (e.g. Announcements, Lender Letters, Publications, etc.)
* Familiarity with Closing Disclosures and Fannie Mae eligibility requirements
* Ability to create written summary on analysis of loan review
* Maintain an acceptable response time as required by the department
* Maintain acceptable accuracy rates as required by the department
* Meet or exceed production and quality requirements
* May perform moderately complex projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects

Target Pay Range: 94,000.00 - 122,000.00

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
