We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Compliance to join our growing team in Poughkeepsie, NY. As the AVP of Compliance, you will be responsible for leading the compliance department, supervising staff, monitoring regulatory changes and enforcement actions, and ensuring that the Credit Union remains fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Compliance Responsibilities -Lead the Compliance Department, including scheduling, hiring, performance reviews, and team development -Monitor and analyze new and existing federal/state regulations to ensure timely and accurate compliance across the organization -Manage fraud and risk systems like Verafin, Yellow Hammer, and Biocatch to detect and prevent financial crimes -Serve as the point of contact for audits, compliance-related projects, and law enforcement inquiries -Conduct BSA/AML reviews, fraud risk assessments, and compliance training refreshers -Collaborate across departments to support internal compliance needs and special projects Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Compliance Qualifications -5-8 years of experience in banking, credit union, or financial services compliance -Bachelor s degree or equivalent industry certifications (CUCO,CRCM, CAMS, BSACS, etc.) -Strong knowledge of regulations including BSA, OFAC, Reg Z, M, D, E, CC, and DD -Proven experience managing or leading a compliance or risk-focused team -Familiarity with fraud prevention tools and regulatory reporting -Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills Why TEG? -Competitive salary and benefits -Supportive leadership and collaborative culture -Stable and growing credit union with strong community roots -Opportunity to drive innovation and process improvement in compliance and fraud prevention Apply Now If you're ready to step into a leadership role where your knowledge of compliance, fraud prevention, and regulation can shine apply today to join TEG Federal Credit Union in Poughkeepsie, NY.
