    How you make a difference

     

    The **Dentist** delivers high-quality dental assessments and care to individuals served, focusing on their oral health and overall well-being. This role also includes supervising the Dental Assistant, ensuring smooth clinic operations and a collaborative environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Oversees Dental Services** : Supervises the Dental Assistant and ensures efficient delivery of dental services.

    + **Provides Dental Care** : Conducts dental assessments, routine cleanings, and necessary treatments.

    + **Patient Education** : Educates patients and families on dental diagnoses, treatment plans, and oral hygiene practices.

    + **Documentation** : Accurately documents all services provided.

    + **Collaboration and Quality Improvement** : Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, participates in peer review, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives and policy development.

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education:

    + Required: Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry.

    Experience:

    + Required: Two (2) years of clinical experience.

    Licenses/Certifications:

    + Required: Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of practice.

    + Required: Current DEA registration.
