BAYADA Habilitation is looking for a individuals with experience as a:

+ CNA

+ RN

Or be willing to be trained to work as a a caregiver in the Lihue area.

This is a rewarding opportunity for those who are passionate about helping people with disabilities achieve their goals and live their best lives. The meaningful work of Companions and Buddies foster an environment where people with disabilities can thrive as valued members of their communities.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

+ Build long lasting relationships in a one-on-one setting.

+ Assistance with transfers, bathing, personal care (bathing, etc.), medication administration

+ Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities, like Special Olympics.

+ Support clients in developing their independence and achieving their goals (e.g., budgeting, socializing, shopping, using public transportation, exercise)

+ Be attentive to meet the individual’s needs with dignity and respect.

+ Ensure client safety and well-being in the home and community.

+ Have fun on Kauai as a supportive Buddy!

Compensation & Schedule:

+ Weekly Pay

+ This can be apart-time or full-time with overtime, if you have an open schedule

+ Paid training

+ Short commute times (matching you to opportunities in your community)

We’re Seeking Candidates With:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Be at least 18 years of age

+ Passion for providing opportunities to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

+ Patience, empathy and dedication

+ Must be Authorized to work in the United States and located in Kauai or moving to Kauai within the next 90 days

+ Experience as a CNA or RN a plus

Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekdays, Weekends available

Pay: Weekly; $17 and up (negotiable) based on experience, licensure and certifications
