    Clinical Nurse Supervisor, RN (CNS) / Director of Health Services

     

    We have an exciting opportunity for a geriatric-experienced RN who is ready to take the next step in their nursing career!

     

    The CNS is an essential leader who collaborates with the Assisted Living Director to ensure our residents receive the exceptional care that defines our assisted living and memory care community.  Some of your key responsibilities will include:

     

    + Assess resident (and prospective resident) care and safety needs, determining appropriateness for the program and services offered.

    + Ensure high quality care provision through task delegation to staff.

    + Ensure staff are well trained and skilled at their duties and responsibilities, providing appropriate training, oversight, and support in care delivery as needed.

    + Oversee and directly participate in the new admissions and discharge processes.

    + Coordinate and oversee all facility-related health records for both residents and staff.

    + Assure facility compliance with current government regulations and standards as well as internal policies, procedures, and practices.

    + You must have a heart for seniors and their unique needs and challenges.

    + You will have a solid general nursing background, with leadership and geriatric experience (previous direct supervisory experience preferred).

    + You have excellent judgement, critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills, who will be dependable and trustworthy in accomplishing responsibilities with limited direct supervision.

    + You will work positively, effectively and cooperatively with others both in the building and throughout the organization.

    + You understand, read, write, and speak English.

    + You are authorized by the State of Minnesota to work unsupervised with our residents as determined by a Netstudy criminal background check.

    + You are a currently licensed RN in the State of Minnesota, holding an unencumbered license.
