    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Business Development Manager to join an engineering client based in Baton Rouge, LA. This role will be supporting the Gulf Coast Region (Texas and Louisiana) and will require the ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout this region. This individual should have a strong background in sales and client development within the petrochemical and refining industries. This role is ideal for a driven professional with deep industry knowledge and an extensive network of contacts at major producers, EPCs, and industrial service providers. You will play a critical role in expanding the client base, securing new project opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

    The key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

    -Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting the petrochemical and refining sectors in the Gulf Coast.

     

    -Leverage existing relationships with facility owners, operators, EPCs, and engineering firms to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

     

    -Promote the companys services and solutions for capital projects, plant expansions, maintenance turnarounds, and technology upgrades.

     

    -Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.

     

    -Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and executive teams to tailor offerings to client needs.

     

    -Maintain visibility in the market through active participation in industry events, conferences, and associations.

     

    -Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client developments to inform proactive outreach and strategy.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -10+ years of business development or technical sales experience in the petrochemical and/or refining industries.

     

    -Deep knowledge of plant operations, maintenance cycles, project procurement processes, and industry drivers.

     

    -Strong network of client and industry contacts in the Gulf Coast region, including Texas and Louisiana.

     

    -Proven ability to close complex, high-value deals and exceed revenue targets.

     

    -Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

     

    -Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Gulf Coast. -Experience working with large owner-operators and major EPCs in the region.

     

    -Understanding of relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the petrochemical sector.

     

    -Active participation in industry organizations such as AFPM, AIChE, or GPA Midstream. null
