We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Welding Structural Steel Fabrication Quality Control Inspector to join our team on the industrial product line. If you are ready to start a rewarding career in a high-powered work environment, apply today!

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

+ Support the assembly and erection team by performing quality control inspections while meeting the demands of production (includes final QC, incoming parts, and finish/coating inspections)

+ Record and maintain inspection records for quality assurance per City Certification QSM

+ Communicate effectively with the QC Inspector(s), Operations Manager, and team members across the company

+ Plan and coordinate inspections as required

+ Maintain compliance with the QSM throughout the Quality Control process

+ Establish and build quality control standards and processes with the QC team and operations manager as existing and new product lines progress

+ Lead internal and external quality audits and meet project deadlines

EXPERIENCE (Resolution + Quality + Accuracy):

+ Minimum one-year similar work experience required

+ Management experience required

+ Welding experience a plus

+ Structural steel experience

+ Ability to read and interpret fabrication and erection drawings and blueprints **Please note, a test will be given to verify knowledge.

+ Comply with shop safety policies while working in a safety-sensitive position

Competitive pay: $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience
