    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Manager to join a thriving company in Seattle, WA. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills and leadership ability who wants to oversee a team of accounting professionals and ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and account reconciliations.

    + Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

    + Review and prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

    + Manage month-end and year-end close processes accurately and efficiently.

    + Oversee budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting to help meet company financial goals.

    + Develop and manage internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.

    + Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax preparation.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation preferred.

    + 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

    + Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, or other financial software).

    + Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage deadlines and lead a team with a collaborative approach.
