    Description

    A Portland-based boutique firm specializing in high-stakes personal injury litigation is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team. The firm's mission centers around representing survivors of sexual abuse and other complex cases against institutions and organizations, making this a meaningful opportunity for a detail-oriented and compassionate individual.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    + Managing a high volume of litigation cases from start to finish, including reporting and documentation.

    + Handling and organizing discovery material, docketing crucial deadlines, and ensuring timely filings.

    + Preparing legal pleadings, subpoenas, and trial exhibits while supporting attorneys in trial preparation.

    + Developing expertise in both state and federal court procedures.

    + Maintaining open communication with clients to ensure thorough and accurate casework completion.

     

    Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 and eligible for bonuses Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage (employer-paid for employee only); FSA; 24 days of PTO; paid holidays; and participation in a 401(k) plan with match.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of paralegal experience

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

    + Experience with case management tools, such as Clio, is a plus.

    + Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance strict or conflicting deadlines.

    + Dedication to confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive cases.
