Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to support audit-related tasks during a six-week contract assignment. This role involves preparing detailed workpapers and collaborating closely with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy. The is a hybrid position based in Addison, Texas, and offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise to a dynamic environment. This is a 6-week contract assignment offering a hybrid work schedule.

Interim Senior Accountant (contract position):

Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive workpapers to facilitate the audit process.

• Collaborate directly with auditors to address inquiries and provide required documentation.

• Ensure all financial records comply with relevant standards and regulations.

• Analyze and review financial data to identify discrepancies or areas requiring adjustment.

• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for audit purposes.

• Offer insights and recommendations to improve audit efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth audit operations.

• Provide timely updates to management regarding audit progress and findings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles

Strong proficiency in preparing audit workpapers and documentation

Proven ability to collaborate with auditors and respond to inquiries effectively

Familiarity with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Experience in InfoSync is preferred and/or working with 3rd party outsourced accounting team

Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
