We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Paint Cleaner to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our Paint department runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
Bring your hands-on skills and a great attitude to help us build the best in aerospace manufacturing. Whether you have prior production experience or are eager to get started, you’ll be trained to:
+ Apply Chemco Peel Ply on Paint Booths throughout the facility. Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and the use of various types of vacuums.
+ Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers, scrapers, wrenches, and spray paint guns effectively.
+ Work with various chemicals such as Way Oil, coolant, and peel ply.
+ Adhere to all required safety protocols and use necessary safety equipment.
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
+ Train other operators on essential skills and procedures necessary for their job functions.
+ Assist with paint duties including basic screening, sanding, and prep work

**Salary Range:** $18.50-$24.50 plus 10 % shift differential based on location, experience, and skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands *
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
