    Job Description:

    Position Summary:

    Under the guidance and supervision of a Physical Therapist, the PT Intern evaluates patient's mobility and motor assets and liabilities for functional performance. The PT Intern provides goal directed, activity oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in functional mobility and daily life tasks. Essential responsibilities include: Provides quality care for patients receiving physical therapy services according to national, state, hospital & department standards of care. Completes all documentation to ensure the availability of accurate & up-to-date information. Completes appropriate financial management responsibilities. Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism & good interpersonal skills in all interactions and communications.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    Current student of a Physical Therapy Program. Current CPR/ BLS required.
