Job Title: Parts Clerk

Job Description

The Parts Clerk is responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and distributing parts to technicians or customers. This role ensures that the right parts are available when needed, supporting maintenance and repair operations.

Responsibilities

+ Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and supplies.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records using management software.

+ Issue parts to technicians and customers based on requests.

+ Track parts usage and reorder stock as needed.

+ Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotes and deliveries.

+ Organize and label parts storage areas for easy access.

+ Process returns and handle defective items.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in parts inventory management and customer service.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.

+ Ability to inspect parts and handle stockroom operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is preferred.

+ Familiarity with mechanical parts and tools.

+ Any Parts Room Lead or Supervisory experience would be beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment is based in a manufacturing setting, where you will interact with inventory software and MS Office tools to efficiently manage parts distribution and storage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, Mississippi.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
