    Job Title: PLC Technician

    Job Description

    The PLC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation systems. This role ensures the smooth operation of automated machinery and supports production efficiency by diagnosing and resolving control system issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, configure, and maintain PLC systems across manufacturing or industrial environments.

    + Troubleshoot and repair faults in PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime.

    + Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

    + Modify and optimize PLC programs using ladder logic and other programming languages.

    + Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to improve system performance.

    + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems.

    + Document all repairs, modifications, and system updates accurately.

    + Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all technical operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC troubleshooting.

    + Proficiency in PLC languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text).

    + Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.

    + Familiarity with industrial automation systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, Mississippi.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
