    We are seeking a dedicated Master Scheduler to join our team.

     

    In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master production schedule for our medical contract manufacturing operations. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and regulatory requirements to deliver high-quality medical devices or components on time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and production capacity, ensuring on-time delivery of medical devices or components.

    + Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and recommend adjustments to optimize resource utilization while meeting delivery timelines.

    + Material Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, maintaining compliance with medical industry standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).

    + Demand Management: Work with sales and customer service teams to align production schedules with customer requirements and forecast accuracy

    + Inventory Optimization: Balance inventory levels to minimize excess stock while ensuring sufficient safety stock to support production and mitigate supply chain disruptions.

    + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, address production issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

    + Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) to track production progress, generate reports, and provide insights to leadership on schedule adherence, capacity constraints, and supply chain risks.

    + Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve on-time delivery performance.

    + Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, material shortages, or production delays, ensuring continuity in a regulated environment.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience and Training:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    + Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) preferred.

    + 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management, preferably in medical device manufacturing or similarly regulated industry

    + Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills

    + Production planning, capacity analysis, and inventory management principles

    + Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
