The Contracts and Pricing Strategy Senior Associate - Oncology Business Unit (OBU) is a vital member of the U.S. Value & Access organization, responsible for developing and executing pricing and payer coverage contracting strategies to achieve OBU’s objectives. This role involves conducting comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses, partnering with finance to evaluate the impact of contracting strategies on sales volume, discount rates, and long-term planning.

     

    In this dynamic environment, the OBU Contracts and Pricing Senior Associate collaborates with Market Access and contracting teams to help negotiate coverage and pricing agreements while engaging extensively with stakeholders across Value Strategy & Marketing, Patient Access, Data & Analytics, Sales, Brand Marketing, Government Affairs, Trade & Distribution, Finance, and Legal.

     

    The role will be primarily support Nplate with the ability to expand to other products across the broader portfolio as business needs evolve. The individual will be responsible for -

     

    + Support all aspects of the OBU Latest Estimate Discount Rate (LEDR) process, pricing and contracting scenarios, contract decisions, and LRS (long-range strategy) management

    + Create analytics to support provider contracting decisions

    + Providing and maintaining provider dashboards and contract metrics/trackers

    + Managing contract workflow including contract prioritization, price reporting and field updates

    + Creating term sheets and complete request for proposals (RFPs) as needed to provide pricing offers to customers

    + Support slide deck/materials development for key strategic meetings as needed

    Basic Qualifications:

    Master’s degree and 2 years of sales and marketing operations and/or pricing experience

     

    Or

     

    Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of sales and marketing operations and/or pricing experience

     

    Or

     

    Associate’s degree and 6 years of sales and marketing operations and/or pricing experience

     

    Or

     

    High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales and marketing operations and/or pricing experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience solving complex business problems

    + Manage multiple projects concurrently

    + Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling

    + Exceptional written/oral communication skills and executive presence

    + Strong orientation to teamwork - works collaboratively, effectively and efficiently with others in a matrixed team environment

    The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
