WORK SCHEDULE
+ Full-time (40 hours per week)
+ Shifts available: Evenings and Nights **SCHEDULE**
+ Sunday - Thursday 9:00 pm - 5:30 amOR
+ Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm **WHAT WE OFFER**

+ A Bachelor's Degree with coursework in chemistry, biology and other biological sciences including microscopy AND certification, or certified within two years of date of hire, at the Technologist level by a nationally recognized certifying agency such as the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Scientists or the Microscopy Society of America AND one year of clinical anatomic laboratory experienceOR

+ _Desired:_ Knowledge on how to embed and cut histology samples **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** Under general supervision, an Anatomic Pathology (AP) Technologist performs complex procedures in a specialty pathology service or in a combination of general histology and specialty pathology service(s). The AP Technologist performs routine and complex procedures for services such as histology and immunohistochemistry. **DUTIES INCLUDE**
+ Processing, embedding, cutting and staining all types of tissue specimens received in the Histology department
+ Quality assurance, equipment preventive maintenance
