    We are seeking a motivated and proactive Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on working with people and creatively solving challenges.     This individual will support the transition of two key programs Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System (CRIIS), Tactical Combat Training Systems (TCTS II) and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, programs.

    What You Will Do:

    + Technical Interpretation: Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications for Digital and RF products.

    + Test Planning: Evaluate and approve test plans and test equipment designs. Select and order capital test equipment with cost/payback analysis.

    + Capacity Planning: Assess and plan for staffing and test equipment needs. Identify innovative test approaches to minimize staffing and capital costs.

    + Defect Reduction: Eliminate or reduce test defects and improve yields. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for test failures.

    + Engineering Principles: Apply standard engineering and manufacturing principles to solve technical problems with minimal guidance.

    + Test Methods: Develop, implement, and maintain test methods and processes for complex RF circuit card and sub-assembly designs.

    + Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical assistance and training to floor test technicians.

    + Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date test documentation and oversee accurate change management. Resolve conflicts in documentation and process definitions.

    + Test Systems Knowledge: Gain complete knowledge of test systems and hardware.

    + Producibility Projects: Recommend and lead projects to enhance producibility and reduce support costs.

    + Data Analysis: Use statistical process control analysis to proactively address and minimize test flow inhibitors.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

    + Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
