Primary Activities/Duties:

+ Work with the Surface Treatment team to process unpainted work, rework, and special color parts through the finishing systems.

+ Program and operate the automatic equipment used in automatic booths.

+ Monitor the coating quality from the paint systems.

+ Meet and exceed customer specifications.

+ Clean and maintain all paint-related equipment and work areas.

+ Operate and maintain all paint application and delivery equipment used in both the manual and automatic spray booths for the application of both standard and special color coatings.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

+ HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred, but not required.

+ Moderate knowledge of powder paint equipment and powder paint applications required.

+ E-Coat experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

+ Stand in paint booth occasionally throughout work shift.

+ Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift.

+ Frequently walk up and down stairs or ladder.

+ Grasp hand tools including paint application/delivery equipment.

+ Frequently work overhead.

+ Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25-40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.
