Position Overview
Shaw Industries is seeking a Training Operations Specialist The position plays a vital role in enabling effective learning experiences by providing critical operational and administrative support for training programs across the organization. This position ensures seamless execution of virtual and in-person learning events, manages logistics and scheduling, and supports the deployment of key deliverables such as workshops, videos, podcasts, and facilitator-led sessions.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on capability-building and continuous improvement. This role will work from 1 office 5 days per week in a hybrid way.

Responsibilities
+ Manage and execute logistics for training programs, including scheduling, registration, venue booking, technology setup , and materials preparation .
+ Support the deployment and execution of live (in-person and virtual) learning sessions, pre-recorded video and podcast content, and blended learning experiences.
+ Maintain and manage content calendars, training timelines, and project plans to ensure on-time delivery of all learning deliverables.
+ Drive project management for key training initiatives by tracking milestones, managing deliverables, and communicating progress with a larger training team.
+ Partner with facilitators, content developers, and external vendors to align on session needs and provide operational support.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for training-related scheduling, communication, and technical troubleshooting.
+ Administer and update training platforms or learning management systems (LMS) as needed to support registration, access, and content distribution.
+ Support continuous improvement of training operations by documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing streamlined solutions.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in training operations, event coordination, project coordination, or administrative support (ideally in a learning or HR environment).
+ Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
+ A nalytical skills with the ability to work with data sets, generate insights, and translate them into action.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint , etc.
+ Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or virtual learning platforms is a plus.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Flexibility to support sessions across time zones or occasional travel as required .
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor degree in business administration, project management, organizational communication, or a related field preferred.
