Functions and Responsibilities:

+ Confirm vise is true to machine

+ Review set up sheet and pulled tools

+ Provide feedback after tooling is set of any concerns to team

+ Run Single control and small vertical machines

+ Use appropriate machining tools: go/no go gauges and calipers for inspections compare to blue print

+ Set up, operate, and tend to preventative maintenance for CNC equipment

+ Interpret and work from complex drawings and blue-prints

+ Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances

+ Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous operators

+ Responsible to record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports

+ Maintain clean equipment/tools and work area

+ Follow established safety procedures

Education:

+ High School/GED - required

+ 1 year machining certification - preferred

Experience:

+ 1 – 3 years of machining experience

+ 1+ years of Haas Control - preferred
