Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated FHIR Integration Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing and implementing secure, standards-based healthcare data exchange solutions using FHIR, C#/.NET, and DICOM protocols. You will play a key role in integrating clinical systems, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring interoperability across platforms.

Key Responsibilities will be

Design and develop FHIR-compliant APIs and services using C# and .NET.

Integrate DICOM-based imaging systems with EHRs and other healthcare platforms.

Build and maintain scalable backend systems for healthcare data exchange.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical IT, product managers, and QA.

Ensure compliance with healthcare standards including HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA.

Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and system performance.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Compensation:

$15/hr to $19/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

4-5+ years of experience in software development using C# and .NET.

Strong understanding of FHIR standards and healthcare interoperability protocols.

Hands-on experience with DICOM and PACS systems.

Familiarity with HL7 v2/v3 and healthcare data formats.

Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.

Strong Communication Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Background in EMR/EHR systems and clinical workflows.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
