Location: 1410 Donelson Pike, Suite A3, Nashville, TN 37217 Position Title: Factory Automation Field Service Engineer Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week Summary of Duties: Provide Siemens Factory Automation (FA) product support to a global automotive manufacturing company that utilizes Siemens FA products in various manufacturing processes and material handling systems. Provide site support for Siemens FA products and Software to support customer in commissioning of new automation systems and issue resolutions. Support automotive manufacturing customer and OEMs that utilize Siemens Factory Automation equipment. Provide Siemens FA support and expertise by means of customer training and assistance to resolve issues and challenges, drawing on Siemens large support network. Conduct root cause failure analysis of complex technical problems. Create proposal estimations for automotive customers. Define project scope and timeline estimation for IT automotive customers. Implement IT/OT integration projects for automotive customers. Hybrid work permitted. Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of in the job offered or as a Project Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Experience in plant automation engineering; Controls network setup and commissioning, such as Profinet and Profibus, and network switch commissioning; Siemens TIA Portal PLC languages, such as LAD, SCL, FBD, STL, and Graph; Siemens low voltage drives, including G120 & S120; TIA Portal Integrated Safety experience; Experience using electrical measurement test equipment, including multimeter, megger, oscilloscope; MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, MS-Project; WinCC 7.x SCADA systems; Ability to read and understand electrical plans, specifications, drawings, and installation schematics. The position requires three (3) years of experience with SIMOTION basic and advanced applications. Must possess a valid Driver’s license in good standing. Hybrid work permitted.
