    The Senior Electrical Engineer will have essential multi-discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, and customer focused. This position will be working with our Federal group as an owner’s representative on exciting projects.

    General responsibilities include:

    * Act as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projects. Provide expert electrical engineering comments based on these requirements.

    * Participate in quality control and quality assurance during construction.

    * Coordinate with client peer colleagues, client Project Managers, customers and other client personnel/contractors, and other project team members on projects as necessary.

    * Other similar or related services not of a decision-making nature.

    * Miscellaneous services which will require proficiency in the use of Microsoft’s Word, Excel, Power Point, Project software tools and AutoCAD.

    * Assist in the development of reports, studies and presentations.

    * Exhibit professionalism, good customer service and communication skills and serve as a cooperative team player.

    * Multitask and assume multiple projects or assignments simultaneously.

    * Collaborate and assist in resolving critical and possibly controversial issues with a multi-disciplined team of architects, engineers and federal agency clients.

    * Exhibit resiliency if shifting priorities require reprioritization of workload.

    * Understand and be able to implement standards as outlined in the POR, client Design Guides and Construction Standards. Suggest edits or updates to these documents, as applicable.

    * An active Secret Security Clearance is a requirement for this position; Top Secret is preferred.

    * US Citizenship.

    * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.

    * Attainment of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferrable.

    * Minimum ten (10) years of related experience and/or training in commercial/government office building design and construction, etc; 20 years is preferable
