As the Manager, Finance Inventory Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the development, governance, and optimization of IDM (Inventory Data Mart) as the trusted enterprise-wide inventory data platform. You will have the opportunity to join a cutting-edge inventory analytics initiative, driving transparency and operational efficiency at the intersection of data & analytics, finance, and operations. You will play a critical role in overseeing IDM processes, specifically related to inventory accounting practices, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver custom data solutions that drive strategic initiatives forward. Your work will unlock deeper insights into inventory metrics for Commercial and GQO, spanning finished goods, raw material, and work-in-process (WIP).
You will assist in further building the IDM, working with internal and external finance and data professionals. Additionally, you will partner closely with the Finance Data Science & Engineering team and collaborate with the Enterprise Strategy Team, IT Data & Analytics, and other data leaders.
This role requires strong skills in finance inventory accounting and data analytics, the ability to build partnerships, and effective communication. Success relies on strong analytical skills, collaboration, and a proven track record in finance and delivering impactful analytics solutions.

What you will do
+ Assist in the design and execution of the Finance Inventory Analytics Team’s strategy, contributing to the project roadmap and advanced analytics tools, including interactive dashboards and AI.
+ Play a key role in the continued design, build, and launch of the Inventory Data Mart (IDM). Ensure accurate capture of ERP inventory data and processes, collaborate with external consulting firms, and provide program guidance as required.
+ Support enhancements to IDM to address changes driven by business logic updates, acquisitions, SAP go-lives, and other strategic needs. Partner with in-house IT and Finance Data Science & Engineering expertise and resources to maximize collaboration.
+ Support IDM financial oversight, including budget tracking, financial projections, LRFP, and BCFM.
+ Support maintaining the reputation of IDM as a trusted source of inventory data. Conduct routine quality assurance checks and reviews of IDM to ensure reconciliation with HFM and identify any variances.
+ Collaborate globally with Finance Inventory COE SMEs and local inventory accounting process owners to ensure current business logic in IDM. Help establish frameworks to capture future changes to desktop procedures and address solution variances.
+ Support AI-driven analytics initiatives to improve forecasting, reconciliation, and financial modeling.
+ Partner with leaders and data professionals across GQO, Commercial Operations, Finance, Demand Planning, Accelerate and other specialized functions. Assistant in identifying opportunities to integrate IDM data and analytics solutions, offering insights and recommendations to enhance decision-making.
What you need
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
+ 8 years of professional experience
+ Inventory accounting experience
Preferred:
+ CPA, CMA, or MBA
+ Previous experience with financial reporting, or inventory analytics, preferably in manufacturing, tech, or e-commerce
+ Knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles related to inventory accounting and financial reconciliations.
+ Knowledge in Power BI, SQL, and statistical programming (Python, R) for financial analytics is a plus.
+ Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) with experience managing inventory valuation and costing modules.
+ HFM experience
$115,600 - $245,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
