We are currently seeking a Senior Staff R&D Process Development Engineer to join our team of passionate innovators and engineers.

You will need to live within commuting distance to our 6001 Oak Canyon STE 100, Irvine, CA office. You will need to be in the office 5 days a week.

What You Will Do

+ Design, develop, and evaluate components and systems for medical devices.

+ Translate complex user needs into simple system designs and specifications.

+ Conduct advanced prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.

+ Guide cross-functional teams in technology exploration and implementation.

+ Drive competitive strategies using market and clinical insights.

+ Ensure compliance with medical device standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Mentor team members and contribute to R&D processes and documentation.

+ Partner with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Marketing, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality results.

+ Lead process improvements, prototype development, and technical expertise in product releases.

+ Inspire and mentor colleagues while promoting collaboration across teams.

What you need

_Required Qualifications:_

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

+ 6+ years of work experience in R&D new product development

_Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):_** **​

+ Experience in developing and optimizing complex designs for mechanical / electro-mechanical assemblies incorporating DFM principles

+ Experience in creating engineering drawings, models, applying GD&T and CAE tools to optimize the design

+ In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing and processing methods and technologies to support complex product development.

+ Ability to communicate complex plans and technical information to team members
