**Shift: Third Shift Weekend:** Fri (11PM - 7AM), Sat (7PM - 7AM), and Sun (7PM - 7AM) Mon (11PM - 7AM)
What you will do:
You will Assist in coordinating the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards. You will need to be able to follow clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. You will need to be able to work well within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines.
+ Responsible for achieving and reporting metrics and escalating issues for a shift
+ Assist Leads, Technicians in implementing processes and systemic improvements within the team
+ Lead daily improvement meetings to drive change
+ Ensure proper set-up and cleanliness of the production lines is conducted per proper procedures
+ Reconcile product at the end of the production run. Do a final review of TSS before turning in to QA, minimize corrections
+ Perform basic troubleshooting which may include disassembly and reassembly of the lines
+ Assist set-ups and changeovers on the line
+ Assist Technicians with repairs of equipment while exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of repairs to major breakdowns.
+ Work with department leaders and engineering team to improve shift effectiveness, increase productivity, reduce costs and maintain regulatory compliance
+ Responsible for leading/training team in performing preventive maintenance on the Needle Punch machines as scheduled. Escalating issues requiring additional resources to Technicians, Master Technicians or Engineering
+ Accurately enter data into FlexNet, Teams page to enter daily production numbers and other systems
+ Assist with documentation of production data and metrics
+ Perform or assist with in-process quality checks where applicable
+ Decision making on rolls to save or reject
+ Decision making on quality of the bales
+ Assist with sustainment of Stryker Production System tools (6S, MDI, etc.)
+ Proactively drive to enhance and improve the work environment
+ Follow all LOTO when working on machines
+ Effective communication across multiple shifts and departments including Engineering, Quality, Management, and Operations.
+ Responsible for communicating within the team to ensure accurate and thorough cleanings and setups are performed.
+ Assist Supervisor, Lead in accountability of support techs including training timeliness and adherence to company policies and safety guidelines
What you need:
Required:
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing cGMP environment or comparable experience
+ High School diploma or GED required
+ Must have experience working in a highly technical manufacturing environment
+ Must be capable of maneuvering and lifting up to 70 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
+ Maneuver material handling devices such as pallet jacks and roll handling equipment.
+ Work majority of the workday standing and walking.
