**Job Description:** The Senior Full Stack MEAN Developer is a critical member of the care.ai Product Development Team, focused on delivering high-quality software solutions within a fast-paced, agile environment. This role encompasses responsibilities across all levels of our cloud-hosted, serverless platform, including architectural input, front-end and back-end development, integration with external systems, and implementation of automated testing practices.

What You Will Do:
Technical Responsibilities:
+ Architect, design, develop, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable full-stack applications using the MEAN stack within a cloud-hosted serverless infrastructure.
+ Integrate applications with external systems and APIs using modern, secure, and efficient techniques.
+ Establish and implement automated testing frameworks and processes, ensuring robust code quality and reliability.
+ Utilize cloud services effectively, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), to optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Business Responsibilities:
+ Work closely with Product Management, Client Success, and Engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
+ Provide clear, consistent, and transparent communication to stakeholders regarding development progress, risks, and solutions.
Compliance and Regulatory Responsibilities:
+ Ensure all software development complies with relevant healthcare industry regulations, such as HIPAA and SOC 2 standards.
+ Maintain accurate, detailed documentation that supports regulatory audits, compliance efforts, and secure data management.
General Responsibilities:
+ Provide technical mentorship and best practice guidance to junior developers and teammates.
+ Regularly review and enforce coding standards, updating and improving technical standards as required.
+ Develop and maintain accurate platform, system, subsystem, and unit-level documentation and diagrams.
+ Continuously evaluate new technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in our software development processes.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
+ 5+ years of proven full-stack development experience.
+ Extensive hands-on experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
+ Proficiency in modern software development practices including DevOps, microservices architectures, automation frameworks, and API development.
+ Experience with NoSQL databases (specifically MongoDB).
+ Demonstrable experience with Git-based source control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Desired):
+ Prior cloud hosting experience, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
+ Experience developing event-driven systems utilizing publish/subscribe messaging patterns.
+ Prior experience working with real-time data streaming and analytics.
+ Previous experience in healthcare-related fields, familiar with healthcare standards and workflows.
+ Experience working in startup environments or other high-growth, fast-paced technology organizations.
