    UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager with a minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems to create status updates and reports. This is a hybrid role with 3 days on-site in Brooklyn, NY. This role will support and manage cybersecurity engagement tasks with over 70 NYC agencies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and hands-on experience managing recurring cybersecurity assessments and trainings.

    MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

     

    • Minimum of 4 years of cybersecurity experience, including knowledge and application of cybersecurity practices, especially incident response.

    • Familiarity with security frameworks and industry best practices.

    • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, plan, and manage the execution of large-scale programs and recurring engagement tasks.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and maintain productive relationships.

    • Attention to detail in project documentation, meeting minutes, and client communication.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to proactively address implementation challenges.

    • Experience in stakeholder management, especially across clients, team members, and cross-functional partners.

    • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for status updates and report generation.

    • Analytical skills to review program data, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights.

    • Experience in developing and documenting repeatable procedures for program consistency and compliance.

    • Flexibility and adaptability to shifting program needs and ambiguity while maintaining composure and focus.

    SCOPE OF SERVICES

    TASKS:

    Project Management Function

    + Ensure NYC agencies are updating their Incident Response Plans – Annually (70+ agencies)

    + Ensure NYC agencies have an updated Cyber Incident Escalation Path – Biannually (70+ agencies)

    + Ensure NYC agencies are updating their IT and Cyber-related services (agency, OTI, or third-party vendor) – Annually (70+ agencies)

    Agency Scheduling and Engagements

    + Ensure NYC agency responders are scheduled for Cyber Crisis Simulation Training – Annually (70+ agencies)

    + Ensure NYC agency responders are scheduled for Incident Response Refresher Training – Annually (70+ agencies)

    + Ensure NYC agencies are scheduled for Asset Validation and Enrichment – Annually (20+ agencies)

    + Ensure NYC agencies are scheduled for the Public Facing Web Application Assessment – Ongoing (OOM32 - 45 Mayoral Agencies)

    + Schedule onboarding for new agencies and provide relevant documentation and templates.

    + Develop custom presentations tailored to the agencies being engaged.

    + Schedule all follow-up meetings with agencies in a timely manner.

    + Capture and maintain meeting minutes for all formal agency engagements.

    + Escalate non-responsive agencies to Cyber Operations and/or Audit & Compliance as needed.

    + Maintain strong communication between the Log Onboarding and Operations teams.

    + Ensure timely updates in Salesforce on the status of all workstreams.
