Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join a leading global engineering, manufacturing, and servicing company specializing in heavy industrial power and control systems. We provide innovative solutions for industries such as oil and gas, mining and mills, energy and utilities, and marine. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team and contribute to our success.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general mechanical duties on AC/DC motors.

+ Assist in all areas of manufacturing as needed.

+ Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and effectively.

+ Utilize hand and power tools for assembly and repairs.

+ Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.

+ Maintain a high level of productivity while on your feet all day.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of forklift experience.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with basic hand and power tools.

+ Mechanical experience is required.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ 3 years of mechanical assembly experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in general labor, construction, loading, and unloading.

+ Skills in cleaning and machine operation are beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment where safety gear such as steel-toed boots is required. The role involves standing and performing tasks throughout the day, ensuring a dynamic and active workday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longview, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
