    Job Title: Pile Driving Foreman

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Pile Driving Foreman to oversee crews performing pile driving work. This role involves managing timesheets, scheduling, and handling product logistics. You will be responsible for picking up and placing templates for pile locations, supporting crane activities and pile deliveries, inspecting tools and safety premises daily, attending toolbox talks, and maintaining a safe and organized worksite. Operation of hydraulically and diesel-driven pile hammers, as well as utilizing vibratory hammers to drive various types of piles, is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee crews performing pile driving work.

    + Manage timesheets and scheduling.

    + Pick up and place templates for pile locations.

    + Support crane activities and pile deliveries.

    + Inspect tools and safety premises daily.

    + Attend toolbox talks and maintain a safe work environment.

    + Keep the worksite clean and organized.

    + Operate hydraulically and diesel-driven pile hammers.

    + Utilize vibratory hammers to drive sheet piling.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience as a pile driving foreman.

    + Experience with and understanding of the pile driving process and heavy equipment.

    + Ability to read and understand heavy construction plans.

    + Previous experience in a pile driving crew.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with others.

    + Accustomed to working outdoors in all weather conditions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in carpentry and understanding elevations is a plus.

    + Rigging and bridge building knowledge.

    Work Environment

     

    Work schedule is Monday through Saturday, 6am-6pm, with availability required for some day and night shifts on weekends. The job involves working outdoors in all weather conditions.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
