Requirements
Summary:
Member of the HR Team. Actively lead and support the overall training and development strategy of Production and Maintenance Employees. Support leaders and supervisors to proactively participate in training and development using a behavioral management approach (BMT). Influence and guide the development of a high-performance workplace culture that motivates and retains machine operators and skilled trade employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate Continuous Improvement of Revere’s Production and Skilled Trade Learning and development Process
+ Develop and maintain On the Job Training Plans to support peer-to-peer training and Engagement Plans to supplement the training with engagement from supervisors, safety and quality using high quality observations.
+ Perform regular observations and check-ins with those in training
+ Through the data and regular engagement with superintendents, supervisors and employees on the floor, determine if employees are on track or off track in training and report out monthly
+ Facilitate consensus meetings to determine qualifying employees on job sign off
+ Attend weekly production and skilled trade team meetings.
Creates opportunities in local community in developing machine operator and skilled trade positions
+ Develop relations with local colleges, high schools and BOCES by attending job fairs and supporting requests for tours of our facility
+ Works with Workforce development and Department of Labor to secure training grants for new hires, apprentices and displaced workers.
+ Applies community programs and resources that enhance Revere’s Machine Operator and Skilled Trade program
Assists in other aspects of the Learning and Development Department
+ Writing documents that help augment the training processes
+ Working knowledge of the quality management system
+ Present on topics during orientations
+ Quarterly department strategic planning
Qualifications:
+ The successful candidate must have experience in building relationships to improve performance, and a strong record of collaboration.
+ The ability to describe their experiences using effective communication.
+ Direct experience creating work environments where others can succeed is preferred.
+ Must possess a keen interest or a working knowledge of Behavior science.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Knowledge of Document Control Systems is required.
+ Strong facilitation skills
Special Demands:
+ While performing the duties of this job, will be regularly exposed to work near mechanical parts.
+ May be exposed to wet or humid conditions.
+ May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
+ May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.
+ May be exposed to extremely dusty environments.
Education / Training:
Minimum:
+ 2 Year Degree in related field or equivalent
Preferred:
+ 4-year degree (or equivalent professional experience).
+ Have or willing to work towards the following
*Behavioral Management Techniques (BMT)
*OSHA 10 Certification.

Salary Description
$56,500 – 73,000/yr. Based on experience
