Pay: $24/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (No Weekends) Full Time (40 hrs a week)

Description

- Schedules patients for service(s) - schedules appointments and modifies patient schedule

- Greets and registers patients - ensure completion of all necessary patient forms with appropriate signatures and copies of insurance cards

- Verifies patient information - explains benefits to the patient including all patient financial responsibility, billing processes and outpatient policies and procedures

- Enters all new patient information in EMR; handles patient records

- Collects patient co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance

- Generates and maintains medical record - Scans all documents and appropriate forms - Releases medical record

- Tracks and obtains insurance verification/authorization information from payers

Must have skills:

Customer service, insurance verification, Epic EMR, registration, clinic or hospital experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Data entry experience required / handing on patient demographics

- Patient Service - medical office and/or hospital experience - 2 years

- knowledge of insurances

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
