    Description

    Tyto Athene is searching for highly qualified **Cloud Operations Manager** to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

    Responsibilities:

    + Performed the duties as the Cloud Operations Manager and leads daily operations of enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring secure, compliant, and highly available environments that meet mission-critical demands. This role oversees cloud infrastructure teams, manages vendor SLAs, implements governance and automation standards, and ensures compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and performance objectives.

    + Direct the operations of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid), including resource provisioning, monitoring, patching, and incident response.

    + Lead DevOps/SRE/CloudOps teams to support system uptime, capacity planning, and optimization.

    + Drive automation initiatives across infrastructure and security operations using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and CI/CD tools.

    + Continuously improve observability, incident response, and service delivery metrics (SLOs/SLIs).

    + Support 24/7/365 operations at Doral, FL, COOP, Exercises, and Deployments

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + 10+ years of experience and HS or AA/AS or BA/BS or MA/MS

    Desired:

    + Master’s Degree in Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, or DevOps Engineering.

    Certification:

    + Must meet (IAM/IAT Level II):

    Preferred Cloud Provider Certifications:

    + AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

    + AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Pro

    + AZ-400: Azure DevOps Engineer ExpertAZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
