Position Description:
Performs support and coordinate work in direct support of an administrative team of a specific administrative office or department. Coordinates and assists with functions such as planning, researching, budgeting and program implementation and evaluation. Performs responsible and complex office support duties, thus relieving the administrator of these duties. Work is performed under administrative supervision.

Major/Essential Functions:
+ Provide business support for the department, including reconciling the department procurement card.
+ Process purchase orders through the TTU TechBuy system.
+ Process travel; including applications and vouchers, obtaining estimates for most cost-effective travel arrangements, reserving rental car, flights, meal, and lodging for both faculty and graduate students.
+ Responsible for coordinating event catering.
+ Support academic and departmental activities.
+ Update department social media accounts.
+ Excellent phone skills.
+ Take inventory of the break room and supplies.

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding and experience with TTU systems including Purchasing, Travel, Deposits, Cognos, organizational skills, and experience with planning events.
