    The Proposal Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our company by identifying new business opportunities and managing the proposal development process. The ideal candidate has experience in government procurement and proposal development, as well as a strong understanding of emergency management and disaster response. This individual should also possess experience successfully leading proposal operations, meeting tight deadlines, and submitting comprehensive, winning proposals. The position will be guided in all activities by ACDC’s Corporate Values Platform.

    + Locations: Remote with up to 50% travel/deployment

    Responsibilities

    Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

    This role will support the company's proposal process from start to finish, including identifying new business/solicitation opportunities, creating proposals, and submitting final proposal products.     + Proposal Development: Support end-to-end development of compliant, competitive proposals—from opportunity identification to final submission.

    + RFP Analysis & Compliance: Analyze solicitations, build compliance matrices, and support content creation to meet all requirements.

    + Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather input, coordinate schedules, and manage deliverables.

    + Content & Data Management: Maintain proposal libraries, resumes, past performance profiles, document control, and CRM data quality. Support Go/No-Go process by initiating and following up on Go/No-Go reviews, pre-screening RFPs for compliance concerns, and updating Salesforce appropriately. Track and analyze proposal metrics, FOIAs, and incorporate feedback to improve proposal development processes.

    + Process Support: Enforce proposal timelines, support Bids calendar management, facilitate reviews, and ensure all submissions are complete, accurate, and timely. Facilitate the proposal production and shipping process as necessary.

    + Quality Assurance: Review and edit content, perform consistency reviews, work with technical editor and operations teams to ensure high standards in all proposal materials.

    + Collaboration: Participate in kickoffs, solutioning, reviews, and debriefs; provide admin and content support throughout the BD lifecycle. Work in alignment with marketing and data teams on proposal collaboration such as graphics, dashboards, etc. Participate in the company's BD and capture-related meetings.

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

    + Demonstrated track record of BD and proposal development activities.

    + Understanding of capture process.

    + Excellent conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to handle urgent/time sensitive proposal delivery deadlines.

    + Strong communications skills, including strong writing and editorial abilities.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to create high-quality documents under pressure.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.

    + Ability to work collaboratively with teams and individuals.

    Work Environment:

    + This position will work from a home office unless required to attend meetings at a client site or attend conferences.

    + All ACDC positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.

    + All ACDC positions may require travel to client sites or for emergency activations/deployments, as requested. Deployment may require work in austere locations and various weather conditions.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of experience in proposal and qualifications development, writing, and editing.

    + Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. (Years of experience can substitute for education requirement on a year for year basis on top of the requirements.)

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and other needed marketing software.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of experience in proposal development, management, and delivery.

    + Practical experience with proposal development for government clients in emergency management, disaster recovery/response, or federal solicitations.

    + Demonstrated understanding of key emergency management and homeland security programs and solutioning for government clients.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of Canva.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of AI proposal management systems.

    + Proposal training and/or certification(s) from APMP or other recognized institutions.

    + Practical experience with Salesforce or other recognized CRM systems.

    + Demonstrated experience working on proposals that involve collaboration and engagement with teaming partners, in both a prime and a subconsultant role.

    Physical Demands:

    + May require sitting or standing for hours for a long period of time.

    + Mobility around client sites may be necessary.

    + May require long hours at a computer.

    + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively as needed.

    Additional Qualifications:

    + Must be 18 years of age or older.

    + Must pass background check upon offer of employment.

    + Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
