    We are seeking an experienced Floor Technician with evening availability, Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM, who can work with minimal supervision and has a clean driving record.

     

    The Floor Technician is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, bonneting) in areas that include offices, patient rooms, classrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas such as cafeterias.

     

    This position includes a non-cash allowance of $6.75 per hour for retirement or health insurance, which is not added to the base pay.

    Requirements

    1. Use of specialized power equipment. 2. Maintenance of floor care equipment. 3. Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance. 4. Knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as high-speed buffer, Wet Vac, Automatic Scrubber, Pressure Washer, Buffing Machine, Burnisher, Carpet Retriever, Carpet Shampooer, Carpet Extractor, and Upholstery Cleaner. 5. Maintain positive safety standards consistent with published safety regulations, directives and commonly accepted safety procedures. 6. Comply with safety policies and procedures for safety of self and others. 7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

     

    Qualifications: 1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. 2. Must be capable of the job's physical demands, such as constant standing, walking, stooping, lifting, etc. 3. Must be able to follow instructions. 4. Must pass any required federal, state, municipality, and/or customer-specific background checks. 5. Able to lift up to 100 pounds properly. 6. Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and have and maintain a driving record in accordance with Human Technologies’ Liability/Automotive Insurance Carrier, if required for the contract.
