Travel Director of Nursing (DON)

Schedule: Full-Time

Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) leader looking to make a meaningful impact? Join Care Initiatives as a Travel Director of Nursing (DON) and help us deliver high-quality care across our skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa.

With over 40 locations across the state, Care Initiatives is committed to supporting individuals at every stage of their healthcare journey. As a Travel DON, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring clinical excellence and compassionate care wherever you’re assigned.

Requirements:

+ Active RN license in good standing (Iowa or ability to activate)

+ Current CPR certification

+ At least 1 year of Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF)

+ Ability to travel throughout Iowa, including overnight stays

+ Willingness to work in roles such as DON, ADON, or MDS based on organizational needs
