Admissions Coordinator (RN Required)

Atlantic Specialty Care, part of the Care Initiatives network, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Admissions Coordinator (RN) to join our team. In this key role, you will support individuals and families during one of the most important transitions of their healthcare journey. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and support throughout the entire continuum of long-term care.

An active Registered Nurse (RN) license is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for new admissions and coordinate the admission process.

+ Review referrals and assess for clinical appropriateness.

+ Maintain positive relationships with hospitals, case managers, families, and internal care teams.

+ Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to long-term care admissions.

+ Support census growth through outreach and relationship-building within the community.

Qualifications:

+ Must hold a valid RN license in the state of Iowa.

+ Prior experience in skilled nursing, admissions, marketing, or case management preferred.

+ Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

+ Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
